After much deliberation and contemplation I ended up buying some Bontrager Ride+ panniers as funnily enough, they match my Trek FX+ Ride+ bike. After 3 fairly short and smooth rides with them attached, the stitching on one of them split as shown. The folk at Evans, from whence it came were great and got me a replacement the next day. However after just one ride out, the 2nd set are looking as though they may go the same way. They are attached as they should be and it’s not like I’m carrying much in them! A couple of protein bars, 1 Abus lock (on the side that isn’t coming away) and a set of free National Trust binoculars for no good reason and a Topeak mini track pump thing! Guess I should have and probably will stick with Ortlieb’s.1like
A Techy, travel obsessed e-biker.
I'm a 40 something, decidedly unfit (but trying to get fitter) travel agent from Sunderland, now living on the County Durham / Gateshead Border. I've bought a Trek FX+ Ride+ e-bike off eBay. These pages are just a collection of my cycling related ramblings.
